Welcome to Super Rider! My name is Aaron, and on this channel we break down complex bike skills into easy-to-learn techniques, so you can quickly learn and apply these skills to your riding.
I film most of the videos in the Shred Spot, a mountain bike skills laboratory where we build and ride on obstacles. It's the best place to break things down and go deep on all of the nuances of bike riding. You'll see me ride full suspension mountain bikes, hardtails, dirt jumpers, street trials, competition trials and anything else I can get my hands on!

The BEST 12 MTB Skills To Improve Your Riding
Are you learning skills in the right order? Are you learning the right skills? This guide will help you build your bike confidence and control from the ground up! We'll start with the basics of lifting each tire off the ground and build from there across twelve different skills. The order of each skill is extremely important, as it contributes to making the next skill even easier to acquire.
While these skills are all extremely important, the one other element that you'll need is focused effort. Practice makes progress!

The FASTEST Way To Improve MTB Skills
Переглядів 18 тис.21 день тому
Is riding MTB down the trail actually "practicing" or does it require some additional focus? Although we teach all sorts of flat ground skills that are easy to repeat, not everyone wants to put the time and effort into that style of practice. This week I got a brand new bike, the Marin Alpine Trail 1, and I took it out for a ride to demonstrate how we can mix skills practice with trail riding. ...
Can’t Wheelie? Here’s Why.
Переглядів 43 тис.Місяць тому
Is there a "right" way to learn wheelies? I think so. Every mountain bike skill should build on the previous one, so your time and effort continues to build your skill base over time. Wheelies are a great skill to have - not just for showing off, but for learning to ride up (and off) obstacles. I Quit My Job To Be A Pro Athlete. Will It Work?
Переглядів 7 тис.Місяць тому
What’s the difference between an Athlete and a Creator? Can you be a professional mountain biker and do either, or do you need to compete? I believe as long as you are bringing value to the mountain bike community, you deserve the title, and that’s exactly where I’m headed (again). This channel just crossed the 100,000 subscriber mark a few weeks ago - and this is a little bit of the journey of...
How To Ride TOUGH MTB Trails
Переглядів 12 тис.Місяць тому
The one skill that bails me out of the toughest spots on the trail is also one of the most versatile skills you can have on two wheels. Using an "English Hop" or simultaneous two-wheeled hop, SPD hop, clipless hop, (and the many other names it goes by) will give you a chance to quickly reset and rebalance yourself and your bike when things go sideways. In this video we break down all the differ...

No matter how hard you try, if you don't address and expand your comfort zones over your balance points on the back (all three of them), you're going to have a hard time progressing your skills as a mountain biker. In this video, we're going to learn how to spend more time getting comfortable over your balance points. We're going to identify and learn how to use our balance points, and then I'v...

Not all bikes do this lol
I like jumping off stairs, or ride up them instead of down
Giant talon 2 is best imho
He looks like he is a really cool dude.
Nah, when i see stairs "drop in" is only thing that appears in my mind 😂😅
Can I have a free mtb?
I did it on my bike and it didn’t work like on video, maybe something is broken (its just slopestyle bike with custom freecoaster)😅
Thank you. Your videos are helping me bring back and improve skills my body had forgotten.
Welcome back! Stoked to hear it!
как всегда, спасибо, и лайк.
I’ve always turned my front wheel towards my front foot to do a track stand. So trials riders do the opposite? I’ll have to learn it all over again to do it that way. I see where doing it the trials way allows you to do front wheel pivots.
🙏 thank you
Love this!
I cant bunny hop to save my life
It's harder to do it when when you have gears because the chain might slip
Fuse
Trek Marlin 7
What is the weight of this bike?
Excellent
Mds mountain bike
Aaron, what about the brakes? Open and close or closed the whole time?
Thanks for all the work you put into this Videolessons. They are so damn good, high quality stuff!
Thank you so much, glad they are useful!
Nice build but very strange tire combo.
Yeah, I agree. This tire combo didn't last long - we're on Continentals now!
I use Finish Line mineral brake fluid. It's worked both in Shimano and Magura for me. Those thinking of warranty issues, you're ignorant.
Just wanted to wish you all the best on your newish endeavor ....I just found my way here looking for some basic trials videos and at sixty six I need all the help I can get and from what I'm seeing on your channel I found the place to get that help. Cheers
Thank you so much!
RSD middle child!
Fuji spacepro
You should ride flat tires to the nearest bike shop to patch you up. I do that sometimes cuz I don't have the knowledge to change the tires on my own YET.
And also just stay on flat pedals all the time fuck clip less
I just witnessed it for the first time today. Had no idea it existed.
Clipless?
Аарон, ты мой учитель, спасибо за видео.
Following because I'll have to get a LIGHTER MTB to do those trials. Since a kid I always wanted to do it.
treak matenl 6
The part im struggling with most is not falling off immediately after taking my feet off the floor
So much harder than it looks i used to be able to do it it's gonna take a really long time to develop the muscle memory again
Danke!✌ Greets from Germany
Thank you!
Thats nose manual
Nice video. I'll try track standing again.
Practice makes progress! There's a newer trackstand video on this channel, definitely check that one out!
I tried doing a track stand but failed. I'll watch your video and try again!
Specialized rockhopper all the way, the price isn’t bad and it’s just an awesome overall bike
Bro I did this and did a front flip face first 😅
Can't wait to pick up my by tomorrow scored an onza for 80 quid child owner great base to ad my own bits to haven't done trials since i was a teenager. You're lessons are top notch im gonna get some pallets from work and make some obstacles up
Obrigado!
I did try it but My handlebars broke
Rockrider st530😅
Marin are straight sleeper bikes. I got the RZ1 for $1500 bucks shipped and threw a dropper post and better front tire on it, and the thing rips. The stock X-Fusion suspension is awesome if you take the time to tweak it to yourself.
Awesome video!
Yo help me out. Have czar stem and clean carbon bars and they are slipping. Stem doesn’t have any “ teeth “ or “ knurled surface “ inside. Seems to be similar shape that holds bars but it slipping and twisting. ;P
